Our vendor - Gifty's Ghana Kitchen also works with local talented Ghanian artists who have a limited opportunity to display and sell their works, by showcasing their beautiful paintings here in Australia with the aim of supporting these micro-businesses back home.

Background

In Ghana and neighboring countries, Tro Tro are privately owned minibus shared taxis that travel fixed routes, leaving when filled to capacity. Whilst there are Tro Tro stations, these vehicles can also be boarded anywhere along the route. They are typically decorated with fun sayings, interesting stickers and slogans.
